Proctology deals with diseases of the rectum and the area immediately adjacent to the rectum (perianal region). The most common problems that bring patients to this clinic are haemorrhoids and fissures. We treat most patients on an outpatient basis, though in the case of advanced haemorrhoids we offer the option of same-day, modern stapler surgery – i.e. the Long method.
